**AR Air Pollution Visualizer for iPhone, iPad & Meta Ray-Bans**

What if you could see the pollution in our air with the naked eye? Airmeter pulls live PM2.5 and NO₂ values so you can understand the quality of the air you are breathing — and shows it to you as a drifting particle field that gets denser the worse the air is. Available now on iPhone and iPad, coming soon to Meta Ray-Bans.

## Overview

Airmeter pulls live PM2.5 and NO₂ values so you can understand the quality of the air you are breathing.

A drifting particle field floats in front of you, getting denser and heavier the worse the air actually is. Clean air is a few faint specks. Standing in serious pollution is a thick, slow haze closing in around you. You feel the air quality instead of just reading it.

For the Meta Ray-Bans version, there's a 7-day trend and the best time to head out, as well as a leaderboard for different cities worldwide.

For the smartphone version, we worked with the Residents Association in Rectory Road, London, and were sponsored by Breathe London, who are supported by the Mayor of London and Bloomberg Philanthropies, to create the smartphone version of Airmeter. We're now expanding to all 200 air quality monitors installed throughout London.

Available now on iPhone and iPad. A Meta Ray-Bans version is in development, which will bring always-on ambient air quality awareness to smartglasses — so the invisible becomes part of how you see the world, every day.

## Partners

Airmeter launched on Clean Air Day 2024 in partnership with Breathe London, the Rectory Road Residents Association, and with support from the Mayor of London and Bloomberg Philanthropies. The team is working to connect to all 200 of London's air quality monitoring nodes.

Airmeter is made by OHI Studio, a UK-based studio specialising in apps and experiences for spatial computing and wearables. Founded by Liam Mason, Grace Baird, and Anrick Bregman, OHI Studio builds products from concept to deployment in-house.
